Certifications

ISO 14001:2015

As part of strengthening the Corporate Social Responsibility policy Waysis and therefore TMC obtained the certification according to ISO 14001:2004. Controlling of the environmental aspects and impacts were already partly fixed in the quality management and safety assurance of Waysis, but it required more detailed interpretation. In 2011 an inventory was held with as a direct result an Environmental Handbook.

Once housed in the new building at the H.J.E. Wenckebachweg in Amsterdam, the subject was brought up again, resulting in the environmental certification ISO 14001:2015, which states how Waysis handles the “carbon footprint” caused by our business processes and how we try to reduce this.

ISO 9001:2015

The quality of business processes (and following: the products and services) can only be maintained within an robust organization. For this purpose, Waysis composed its first Quality Handbook, based on the years of experience (TMC and therefore Waysis was established in 1927) and the processes used at the time. In the following years this handbook was further developed into a structure compatible with ISO 9001:2000.

The certified quality control of Waysis is currently monitored by 'random' internal audits and the annual audit by BSI, the independent, authorized organization that conducts the external audits. In the final audit, Waysis, and therefore TMC, received another positive assessment, this time in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

VCA** certification (Safety and Security Certification)

Safety of workers but also of people on the street during the work, directly related health and safety issues and environmental issues that must be kept a sharp eye on, are important parts of doing business. Waysis is therefore VCA** 2008/5.1 certified (VCA* for companies that do not participate in a project as main contractor).

We also expect our employees (engineers and project managers) to get their individual VCA certification through personal training. This security assurance is also required from the subcontractors who perform parts of the work commissioned by the Waysis companies.

Acceptant Payment Service Provider

TMC is a, by the Betaalvereniging Nederland (Payments Association Netherlands) certified APSP. This means that TMC can take care of your entire electronic payment process. TMC acts as an intermediary between the acceptor (the electronic payment terminal at the parking meter) and the acquirer (the bank of municipality). This relieves the bank of the municipality, because it is not necessary to have a separate contract for each payment terminal. More information on the website of Betaalvereniging Nederland.
