TMC Begins Operations in Venlo

The municipality of Venlo decided it was time to replace its existing parking meters. After a European tendering process, Venlo selected 105 new parking meters from TMC.

User-Friendly Design

The parking meters in Venlo are of the S5 model, one of TMC's most innovative products. Featuring a 9.7-inch color display and a robust 30-watt solar panel, these meters offer a user- and environmentally-friendly experience. Additionally, the meters are equipped with the latest technology, making them adaptable to future developments in parking management.

Close to the German Border

Given Venlo's proximity to the German border, 40 of the parking meters will be equipped with a coin payment option as well as the ability to accept debit and credit card payments. The remaining meters, located outside the city center, will support only card payments.

Project Progress

The first meters have already been successfully installed on the streets. We anticipate completing the project by the end of September, with all 105 parking meters fully operational.
