Final Project Phase Delivered in Leiden
23 December 2024To maintain a livable, accessible, and attractive city, the municipality of Leiden has expanded its paid parking zones. This expansion aims to prevent increased parking pressure in neighborhoods due to new housing developments, ensuring a pleasant living environment for residents.
Project Overview
Following a tender process, we were awarded the contract in 2023 to supply 79 CWT S5 parking meters. These meters were successfully installed last year in the areas of Hoge Mors (zone C1), Boshuizen, and Fortuinwijk (zone C2) as part of Leiden’s parking vision.
In addition, the supplementary assignment to deliver and install 20 additional parking meters in zones C3 and C4 has also been successfully completed. These new meters operate on solar energy, ensuring sustainable functionality and expediting the installation process.
Community Engagement
Before implementation, all residents, businesses, and institutions in the affected areas received a letter explaining how to apply for a parking permit.
We are proud to contribute to Leiden’s vision of efficient and sustainable parking solutions and thank the municipality for their trust and collaboration.
